My secret mentor and down right "realest" fashion designer on the planet Tracy Reese, celebrated the 5th anniversary of her flagship store located at 641 Hudson Street recently. It was a night to remember seeing a-listers galore were in attendance such as actress Tika Sumpter, supermodel Veronica Webb, celebrity fashion stylist June Ambrose, and countless others. Guest mingled, enjoyed complementary drinks and Cupcakes by Melissa, all while DJ Tyger Lilly spun the ones and twos.
Did I mention that Veronica walked in Tracy's first show and also grew in Detroit with her!
Of course I had to bring a couple of my old friends to such a a fabulous event, both rocking headbands by the indie designer Jennifer Ouellette.
