We all know that Marc Jacobs has decided to pay homage to the late Stephen Sprouse by re-releasing the grafitti splattered "it bag" that the two men designed in the late 1990s. "It's an homage," Jacobs says of the new collection, which features accessories, bags, clothing, and other accessories. The release is limited, set to be simultaneous with the opening of a Sprouse retrospective at Deitch Projects in January 2009 in New York and the publication of Rizzoli's The Stephen Sprouse Book. With that said as I was leaving the Anna Sui flagship store located at 113 Greene Street in Soho, there was a terribly large amount of commotion at the Louis Vuitton store across the street.
