(NEW YORK) It appears that Olivia Palermo really is working at Elle. The former "employee" of Diane von Furstenberg headed to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami last weekend to toil away at the Xtra Life LYCRA after-party, which was co-hosted by the magazine and held at the W South Beach. The socialite-turned-tween-fixation is rumored to be working in Elle's public relations department and reporting to PR manager Erin Kaplan. "Unfortunately, I can't comment on this," Kaplan told The Daily.
At the Xtra Life LYCRA event, approximately 3 separate entrances were armed with signs alerting revellers that the bash was being filmed for The City. Sure enough, there were at least 3 aerial cameras and countless crew members on hand to capture the scene. (Curiously, no Elle editors attended.) Palermo stayed relatively behind-the-scenes as a well-lit Whitney Port played the protagonist. In fact, this was only one of many Port sightings in Miami. The latest employee of People's Revolution worked the booth at Mara Hoffman with boss Kelly Cutrone.
It appears, then, that Elle is officially returning to the small screen following the critically-acclaimed Stylista, which the CW did not renew for a second season. Here's hoping for more Slowey and Zee...
